We first learn about his childhood,with a priceless influence of his grandmother, his youth, when he went his own ways, andthe time he grew ready for the priesthood. We then move to his biography as a priest (1969-1992), the Auxiliary Bishop of Archdiocese in Buenos Aires (1992-1998) and the Archbishopof Buenos Aires (1998-2013), who was elevated to the rank of cardinal by Pope John Paul IIin 2001. A separate part covers the Conclave after the resignation of Benedict XVI from thepost of the Bishop of Rome, when his successor was appointed.
