The title of the book was chosen to reflect psychology of various entities within the world of work to which one might become committed. Indeed, it is becoming progressively more perceptible that to explain why people do what they do at work. My 22 years long association with the crucial cadre of Psycho-Technical applications on Indian Railways provoked me to examine a sample of critical workforce (Rail Engine Drivers') and study them from various angles. Why a human being who is otherwise, so loyal and humble could be negligent/incompetent and thereby, the cause of destruction.
