This book highlights the various challenges confronted by Hindu and Muslim women of India. Indian women, since the ancient times, were considered to be the most superior ones. However, in the medieval period, they gradually lost their superiority and was confined within the four walls of orthodoxy, taboos, superstitions and exploitation.
