Kříže, tvořená 129 deskovými obrazy Mistra Theodorika, triptychem Tommasa de Modena, nástěnnými malbami a kresbami na omítce. Kniha dále obsahuje edice archivních pramenů a sekundární literatury. V závěru jsou zařazeny restaurátorské analýzy. The authors of this representative publication were concerned mainly about the complete interpretation of the complex decoration of Karlstejn castle, that was built as a treasury for the crown jewels of Charles IV in context of political and spiritual ideals of the then Europe. Most of their attention is paid to Magister Theodoricus, the court painter of Charles IV. Several expert treatises deal with thwese topics. The nub of the monography is created by the catalogue part where reproducted the complete pictorial decoration of the Holy Cross Chapel, consisting of 129 tabular paintings by Magister Theodoricus, and triptych by Tommaso de Modena, mural paintings on plaster. the book also contains edition of the archive sources and of secondary literature. The book is closed by conservator´s analyses.
